In Riverside County, California, youth smoking and vaping trends have shown alarming increases in recent years. Statistics indicate a rise in electronic nicotine dispensing system (ENDS) use among teenagers, with many adolescents perceiving vaping as a safer alternative to traditional tobacco products. Despite efforts to curb these habits, the prevalence of nicotine addiction remains a significant public health concern. At Inland Think Tank, we are actively working to combat this epidemic through strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, public health organizations, and educational institutions across the state. By implementing evidence-based prevention programs, conducting awareness campaigns, and advocating for stricter regulations on tobacco and vaping products, we aim to reduce the incidence of youth smoking and vaping, ultimately fostering a healthier future for Riverside County’s young population.
